Launched in August 2009 at NCCU: the Graduate Institute of Applied Physics
The Graduate Institute of Applied Physics was established in 2009. The institute currently has six full-time, two jointly-appointed and one adjunct faculty members. Located in the broad and picturesque campus of National Chengchi University (NCCU) in the suburb of Taipei, the institute has well-equipped computation facilities, a wide selection of online professional journals and close proximity to major academic and research institutions in metropolitan Taipei area. Scholarships and financial assistance from various sources are available to qualified students.

Application for Admission:
A college/university degree in BS or BA (for computational physics A only) and a detailed study plan are required. Official transcripts of all college level courses are also required along with at least three letters of recommendation. Other documents such as scores of GRE and GRE subject in physics and proofs of various awards received are not mandatory but will help in the evaluation process.
